You Know It's Bad When...
...you start competitively tracking your record on ebay.
I'm 6-2 right now in wins versus losses on auctions. There's room for improvement. Faster keystrokes, less indecision :)
But for now, I'm happy - I'm still comfortably above a .500 average after all...

my aunt won one auction for a punch bowl, and then out of curiousity, started bidding on the other punch bowls that were EXACTLY like hers because she wanted to see how high the prices would go. 3 identical punch bowls later, she learned what it was like to SELL stuff on Ebay.
So if you win multiple auctions on the same item, does that improve your average? Hmmm...
