My New Year's Resolution this year is simple: just to be more healthy.
And in honor of that resolution, I went on a 10-mile bike ride with my brother yesterday.
What is it about riding by on a bicycle that makes dogs go crazy? You can walk by and nothing - no response from the dog. But you go by on a bike, and it's like you're a steak on wheels. The sweetest dog suddenly becomes Cujo.
I never realized until yesterday, just how many dogs reside in Santa Fe...

ooooh, I bet your butt hurts today, we will just start calling you Lance!!!
There is a street in my husbands town in mexico where there are a ton of mean dogs. He didn't tell me this until we were going down it on a dirt bike. It totally freaked me out and I was mad at him all day for it b/c he did it to see what I would do.

MY Aussie was like that... Gentle as a lamb for just about everything... That is until a dog eating bicycle would come along...

My butt is indeed a bit sore! But in a good way. Gotta feel that burn :) LOL

Linny - we finally invested in new bikes!!! Hooray!!! The ghetto ones wouldn't have made a 10 mile trip. No way :)
