Vegas, Baby - Part II

So we survived our trip to "Fabulous Las Vegas!!!"
In many ways, it was exactly what I expected - jaded people (i.e. taxi drivers that scream out, "Get out of the way, asshole!!!" at every turn), sex (i.e. people standing on every corner handing out stripper/hooker cards where you can get "full service" from Amber for only $35.99 - crazy), and casino after casino after casino.
What I did not expect was the beautiful views of the mountains that surround Las Vegas. It was so different than anything you'll ever see in Texas...

But seriously - where else can you go to Venice, Paris, Monte Carlo, New York, and to Caesar's Palace in a 5 mile range? This is the shot of the New York, New York:

This was the view:

From the top of this.

I have to tell you that the entire Eiffel Tower experience was amazing and ever-so frightening all at once. But good memories and awesome pictures were made :)

And also - this is real gold that lines the windows of the entire Mandalay Bay hotel. How bizarre is that???

All in all, it was a good time. We saw the Hoover Dam, we saw some shows, we saw every hotel on the strip (and some off of the strip), and we collected all 1800 stripper trading cards (ha). What more can you ask for in a 4 day trip?
