How Could This Happen?
Last night, as I was getting scissors out of the junk drawer in my kitchen to start wrapping Christmas presents, it hit me like a brick wall.
My parents have a junk drawer.
Yikes - I'm a grown-up.
When did this happen?

You are already wrapping Christmas presents?! I don't even think of that until Dec. 1st to even start buying them. You are doing way better than I am at being prepared for the holiday season.
Welcome to the final stages of adulthood...
Next and final step is when you find yourself saying the same things your partents said... This stage doesn't usually kick in until the mid to late 30's, so you have time left.
I'd like to give them my drunk drawer and all my bills...I don't want to be grown up.
I'll take being grown up everyday as long as it comes with lots of money and no responsabilities. Just wishful thinking.
